Verna Purified Mineral, a leading water brand in Ghana, has donated an amount of GH₵10,000 to enable a 15-year-old girl to undergo surgery at the Ho Teaching Hospital.
The girl, who has been struggling with a fractured leg for over five years, was left stranded at the hospital, with her parents unable to raise funds for a possible amputation.
The donation forms a part of Verna’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), aimed at directly impacting the lives of the disadvantaged in society.
While the management of Verna expressed hope that the intervention will make a significant impact in alleviating the plight of the teenager, her mother, Enyonam Boankah, was full of gratitude for the support from Verna.
Verna, through its Changing Lives initiative, has always taken the lead in providing humanitarian support in critical situations, which has yielded touching testimonies.
Verna Mineral Water is produced by Twellium Industrial Company Ltd, certified with ISO and HACCP.
