General Information
The 21K Race is the main race for the Millennium Marathon.
The Millennium Marathon 21k race is an exciting international race for professional elite athletes and social runners. The route offers historic sites and monuments of Accra and will take you inside the heart of Accra city showing you scenes of both colonial and modern city.
It is an ideal race for elite runners looking to make a fast finish and accommodates social runners anyone who wishes to run the distance. This marathon is also for charity runners who raise money for their cause.
Entry
Like for all the other races, entry into the race can be through either of the following;

Route Map
The Millennium Marathon 21k Course is an AIMS-certified course.
Half Marathon Course: will start from Black Start square – High street – WATO Road – Kwame Nkrumah Avenue – Liberation Road (TUC) – National Theatre – Independence Avenue road – 37 Military Hospital Road – Elwak Stadium- Burma Camp Road – Trade Fair Road- Labadi Road – Black Star Square. 5km Course: 10km course
Runner Guide
21K races are demanding and it requires endurance and lots of training to prepare for them. Runners who wish to run the 21K race can consider the following as a guide;

- Race vest or breathable running vest
- Safety pins etc.
